tremble
my eyes are tigers
piercing through your flesh
your names lie upon my tongue
daring to be devoured
you could be anybody
it's not love
i can no longer tell
the difference
in passing
we wave at the ships
one by one
the birds fall from the sky
like cherry blossoms
in a storm
a tempest
that has been kept at bay for too long
only to shatter
windows
facing inward
piercing through your flesh
your names lie upon my tongue
daring to be devoured
you could be anybody
it's not love
i can no longer tell
the difference
in passing
we wave at the ships
one by one
the birds fall from the sky
like cherry blossoms
in a storm
a tempest
that has been kept at bay for too long
only to shatter
windows
facing inward
